Free Classic eBooks on Amazon
Free Classic eBooks for Kindle or Kindle Ready Device on Amazon.com
There are almost two and a half million older, copyright free eBooks that were published from 1923 and before available for free download online. Amazon offers almost 16,000 of the most popular of these classics for direct download to your Kindle or Kindle ready device using the Kindle application. Other classics can be found on other sites, like Gutenberg.org, and downloaded before uploading to your kindle via USB cord connection or read directly on your computer.
Unlike the reproductions of the classics as found in Amazon.com’s marketplace, some of these eBooks found online are scanned copies which aren’t always the best of quality, but you can find some real gems if you look in different places and have a little patience. One of the first eBooks that I uploaded to my Kindle was Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” which will always keep a warm spot in my heart as my all time favorite classic book. What are some of your favorite classics? One of the books that you can read multiple times yet never tire of it.
