What is a Vook?
A Vook is an ebook that has been enhanced to become a hybrid of sorts by adding audio, video, or internet content directly into the ebook. Originally introduced to the public in late 2009 by the New York based company, Book. Since that date, Vook has become a more commonly used term for enhanced eBooks on the market , even if they do not originate from the Vook company.
I have found more than a few Vooks listed for free at one time or another in the Limited-Time Offer section on Amazon. Unfortunately, as of right now the Vooks aren’t fully supported on Kindle models. The Kindle Application allows you to utilize all the benefits of the Vooks directly on your computer.
